“Kings Daughters is full of raw and original talent – and they’ve fought every inch of the way to get to this point.  They clearly have what it takes to become a force in the world.”

The fierce all female British band, merging rock guitars and powerhouse vocals into epic anthems, released their debut single from lockdown. GET UP  launched, in association with MIND, as an empowering charity song to raise morale and the track hit No13 in the charts. The girl band had the world up and dancing a move of solidarity.

Dancing in the Rain, followed – a beautiful tribute to those who passed away during lockdown and could not be honoured in ceremony due to Covid law. Lead singer, Talia Dean, tragically lost her best friend and unable to attend his funeral, through her pain, she composed the track, singing her heart out as a goodbye to her beloved, vocals fuelled with immense power and passion.
Many of us did not get the chance to say goodbye to loved ones in the way we would have liked and the absence of ceremony has left an almighty void. The song’s infectious lyrics, accompanied by an indelible melody and uplifting instrumental, inspires hope in others to feel the presence of he or she they lost and to “keep on moving.”

ITV covered the story behind the music video…

“This virtual launch gave us an incredible sense of liberation, after having been in lockdown for seven months. Being unable to perform, which is what we’re here to do, has had a bigger impact on us than we ever could have imagined and we’ve really struggled as a result. We hope to set a new precedent for live performances with our first gig which will reached fans all over the world. We still had to rehearse and put great creativity into the production, as if fans were coming to see us in the real world, but instead they got to watch the show in the comfort of their living room from all corners of the globe.”
